ECON 105: Elements of Economics

Survey of Economic principles for students planning no further formal study of Economics. Analysis of factors influencing aggregate levels of output, employment, and prices; introduction to U.S. monetary system; price determination and resource allocation under competitive and monopolistic conditions. Review of selected contemporary economic issues. (No credit if Economics 201-202, Principles of Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, have been completed or audited. Not available to students in the College of Business and Public Administration.)

PLEASE NOTE: The Extension option advertised below should NOT be purchased at the same time you purchase this course. Any extensions purchased along with your initial course registration will be cancelled and refunded. Extensions will be allowed closer to the 9 month completion date. An extension information email will be sent one month prior to your end date.

Cancellation Policy

Withdrawals received 1 to 30 calendar days after your registration date will be refunded 100% of the course tuition. Withdrawals received 31 to 60 calendar days after your registration date will be refunded 50% of the course tuition. No refunds are available if UND receives your Withdrawal after 61+ calendar days after your registration date. The 1-time UND Admission Fee of $35 is non-refundable.
