T&L 2900: UND Professional Development for Music Educators

Music teachers are invited to participate in a series of workshops spanning music specializations from Early Childhood to High School Band, Orchestra, Choir and General Music, hosted by UND Music faculty and guests. Teachers can attend 15 hours of professional development to earn one professional development credit (maximum of three credits). Hours can be earned by attending workshops at UND with no more than 5 supplemental hours earned through NAfME Academy Webinars as needed.

Professional Development Sessions will be offered on these dates at these times:
  • Sept. 7 - Elementary Music Emphasis 12:00-4:00pm
  • Oct. 11-12 - Mini Music Conference 12:00-8:00pm, 8:00am-5:30pm
  • Nov. 9 - Choral Music Emphasis 12:00-4:00pm
  • Jan. 24 - Honor Band, Choir, Strings Rehearsal Observations 12:00-4:00pm
  • Feb. 22 - Instrumental Music Emphasis 12:00-4:00pm
  • April 6 - Secondary General Music/ General Music Topic 12:00-4:00pm

Cancellation Policy

If UND receives the Course Withdrawal Form 7 or more calendar days before the learning event start date, the fee paid to UND Professional Development for Educators minus a $35 processing fee will be refunded. If the fee paid to UND is less than $100 the processing fee will be waived. NO REFUNDS are available if a withdrawal notification is received 6 or less calendar days before the learning event start date.
