T&L 2900: Talking Shop: Art Educator Professional Development Series

Participants will explore innovative ideas and strategies for enhancing their art curriculum. They will learn practical techniques for building an art club, addressing sensitive topics, managing behaviors, and developing lesson plans that align with contemporary educational standards and engage students effectively. Topics include Building an Tips & Tricks for a Creative Classroom, Advocacy in & out of the Art Room, Investigating and Honoring Indigenous Art, Mastering Materials & Techniques, Nurturing Your Mental & Emotional Health, Current Trends in Art Education, Exploring Your Personal Practice.

This registration is to receive UND credit only and requires a coupon code. To obtain the coupon code, email the course instructor, Jamie Worden at jlworden1@gmail.com. An instructor fee invoice ($25 for NDAEA members - $150 for non-NDAEA members) will be provided to you. When the invoice fee has been paid, you will be provided with the coupon code and link to complete the UND Graduate Professional Development credit fee of $50.

Cancellation Policy

If UND receives the Course Withdrawal Form 7 or more calendar days before the learning event start date, the fee paid to UND Professional Development for Educators minus a $35 processing fee will be refunded. If the fee paid to UND is less than $100 the processing fee will be waived. NO REFUNDS are available if a withdrawal notification is received 6 or less calendar days before the learning event start date.
