T&L 2900: Summer 2026 NDSGC Educator Professional Development
The North Dakota Space Grant Consortium (NDSGC) will host a STEM Educators Workshop centered on the theme, "NASA Missions - To the Moon and Beyond." This professional development event is designed to provide educators with engaging, hands-on STEM learning experiences inspired by real NASA missions and space exploration concepts. Participants will explore interactive activities that integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics while promoting inquiry-based learning, problem-solving, collaboration, and critical thinking skills. Workshop sessions will demonstrate practical strategies for incorporating NASA-themed STEM activities into classroom instruction across grade levels. Educators will also examine how each activity aligns with state academic standards to support meaningful curriculum integration. Through guided instruction, collaborative participation, and hands-on application, attendees will gain ready-to-use resources, instructional ideas, and increased confidence in implementing engaging STEM experiences that connect students to space science and future STEM careers.
