T&L 2900: VIR: What Great Teachers Do Differently

Based on the book What Great Teachers Do Differently, this course explores characteristics of effective teachers. Matters such as; how effective teachers view their classrooms and students, how they prioritize, and what drives their decisions will be highlighted. This course will present an opportunity for teachers to examine their own effectiveness as well as to refine their skills as preferred.

More Info: Lisa Nordick has an M.S. in Educational Leadership from North Dakota State University, Fargo, North Dakota. Her Master's Paper focused on established Continuing Education Unit practices of North Dakota University System institutions. Nordick has extensive experience in distance education, including online and blended learning environments. She also has extensive experience in educational needs assessment along with curriculum and program development and implementation. Nordick has been active in providing professional development opportunities for educators for more than 15 years.
