T&L 2900: Student Belonging and Classroom Connections

More and more students in today's classroom have experienced trauma that they bring to school with them. This trauma often makes itself known as students act out or become our "difficult" children and teachers feel under equipped for how to best serve them. Both of the texts used in this book study specifically address how building connections or relationships with especially our tougher students can mitigate some of the challenges that they present in the classroom. The group will read, discuss and synthesize the information in the selected texts.
