T&L 2900: The New Art and Science of Teaching (Book Study)

This course offers educators an in-depth exploration of Robert J. Marzano's The Handbook for the New Art and Science of Teaching. Designed as a practical guide for implementing research-based instructional strategies, the course empowers participants to reflect on and refine their teaching practices through a structured book study. Each module focuses on a specific element of the instructional framework, such as student engagement, classroom management, and assessment, and ties these elements to personal practice and student outcomes.

Participants will engage in collaborative discussions, apply key concepts in their classrooms, and develop actionable strategies that align with modern pedagogical standards and support high levels of student achievement. Emphasis will be placed on identifying what teachers "always do," "sometimes do," and "never do" in relation to the model, fostering a culture of continuous professional growth.
