T&L 2900: MC: FLAND Book Study 2026: Grafted Writing

This book study explores the critical role of writing and output in second language acquisition, focusing on strategies that scaffold novice learners toward proficiency. Participants will engage with research-based practices, podcasts, and professional readings to deepen their understanding of writing as a communicative skill. Through guided reflection, classroom implementation, and collaborative discussion, educators will develop practical approaches to integrate writing into their instruction while aligning with proficiency-based standards.

$70 - FLAND Membership Dues 2025-2025 & Book Study Fee
Once you have paid your registration fee of $70 to FLAND, you will receive an invite to join a Google Classroom for the book study, which you will work on at your own pace. You will receive an electronic email when you have successfully registered.

Cancellation Policy

If UND receives the Course Withdrawal Form 7 or more calendar days before the learning event start date, the fee paid to UND Professional Development for Educators minus a $35 processing fee will be refunded. If the fee paid to UND is less than $100 the processing fee will be waived. NO REFUNDS are available if a withdrawal notification is received 6 or less calendar days before the learning event start date.
