Add+VantageMR® (AVMR):  Math Recovery® Fractions focuses on understanding fractions as part-whole relationships, as measures, and as numbers with meaning. The teaching approach relies heavily on observing and documenting students' mathematical activity and thinking. Instructional sequences take into account detailed information about students' current levels of knowledge, as well as how students reorganize their ways of working with whole numbers in order to meaningfully work with fractions. The course will occur in a series of online and virtual sessions over a 3-month period, with expectations of implementation with students and participant interaction between sessions.
