T&L 2900: "Next Level Teaching" (Book Study)

Participants will meet, discuss, and complete coursework throughout five 2-hour sessions, while also spending time completing assigned reading on their own outside of group meetings and online discussion boards. Through group activities, participants will be able to assess the strategies of their own classrooms and begin to take purposeful steps in developing exciting and engaging climates of learning. Teachers will learn instructional practices that foster enthusiasm for learning and explore opportunities to be a positive, motivating influence. Teachers will reflect on their own teaching styles and continue to build their "toolbox" of strategies to enhance student engagement and transform school culture.
