Adolescent mental health declined sharply in the early 2010s, with rates of anxiety, depression, self-harm, and suicide rising dramatically. In The Anxious Generation book study, we explore Jonathan Haidt's argument that smartphones, social media, and overprotective parenting have "rewired" childhood and fueled this crisis.
