T&L 2900: 6th Grade Common Planning 23-24
Teachers for the sixth grade will create a curriculum guide and corresponding instructional materials for their grade level and tier(s) of instruction. Teachers will work collaboratively with their colleagues to design and create materials and resources that are aligned to the prioritized standards of Minot Public Schools, and the corresponding scaled assessments.

This course will allow teachers within the Social Studies department at Jim Hill Middle School to collaborate and address the four critical questions of the professional learning community. Teachers will access each other's professional, pedagogical, and content knowledge through structured reflection and inquiry.

T&L 2900: Readings in American History, Part 2
The purpose of this course is to connect teachers of American History to the North Dakota Social Studies Content Standards in a meaningful way. Participants will utilize informational and nonfiction texts to expand their content area expertise. Participants will analyze and evaluate a selected text that pertains to one or more of the following eras and/or guiding topics in American History.
