T&L 2900: SRCTC Let Them (Book Study)

This professional development book study will explore Let Them by Mel Robbins, a powerful text that encourages readers to release the need to control others and focus instead on personal growth, boundaries, and balance. For educators, the Let Them principle offers practical strategies to reduce stress, strengthen relationships, and create more student-centered classrooms.

Through weekly Google Classroom discussions, guided reflections, and collaborative dialogue, participants will connect Robbins' ideas to real-life teaching. Topics will include setting healthy boundaries, encouraging student independence, supporting resilience, and modeling composure and empathy in the classroom.

By the conclusion of the study, educators will have actionable tools to let go of what they cannot control, empower students to take ownership of their learning, and cultivate a calmer, more supportive school environment.
