This distance-based course explores literature related to family engagement in K-12 education settings. The course is comprised of 6 modules. The modules offer family engagement information and ideas that teachers may consider integrating into their teaching methods as a strategy to improve student learning.

More Info: Lisa Nordick has an M.S. in Educational Leadership from North Dakota State University, Fargo, North Dakota. Her Master's Paper focused on established Continuing Education Unit practices of North Dakota University System institutions. Nordick has extensive experience in distance education, including online and blended learning environments. She also has extensive experience in educational needs assessment along with curriculum and program development and implementation. Nordick has been active in providing professional development opportunities for educators for more than 15 years.
