T&L 2900: Crisis Prevention Institute (Full Training - Blended)

Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training provides instruction for participants on a range of preventative strategies, de-escalation skills, and communication techniques. Participants will also learn psychological and physiological responses that will minimize the potential harm of disruptive and aggressive behaviors. Participants will learn to use suitable and acceptable physical interventions to reduce or manage risk behavior. Instruction may be provided via lecture, video, role play and practice of the use of physical intervention strategies.

Cancellation Policy

If UND receives the Course Withdrawal Form 7 or more calendar days before the learning event start date, the fee paid to UND Professional Development for Educators minus a $35 processing fee will be refunded. If the fee paid to UND is less than $100 the processing fee will be waived. NO REFUNDS are available if a withdrawal notification is received 6 or less calendar days before the learning event start date.
