Understanding SysML Models in MBE
Learn the essentials of OMG SysMLŠ, a general-purpose modeling language for developing complex systems composed of hardware, software, information, personnel, procedures, and/or facilities. Review key concepts in a tool-independent manner with a focus on how to read and properly interpret SysML models that others have created. Gain an understanding of all nine SysML diagrams and their corresponding model elements. Understand the role of SysML in MBE, including how SysML supports the systems engineering V- Model and what you can do with a SysML model. Discover the benefits and costs of a SysML-based MBE approach and explore the various methods for deploying SysML technology in your organization. This course is designed for engineers, scientists, managers, and technicians interested in model-based engineering.
What You Will Learn:
- MBE context and motivation
- How to understand upfront concepts (system objectives), structure and behavior concepts, and crosscutting concepts in a SysML system model
- Leading-edge applications and deployment considerations
