Join us as we continue exploring shared life experiences through the lens of human behavior and its impact on personal development. This engaging course will delve into questions such as: How did human nature evolve? Why do we experience emotions? What drives our need for self-esteem? Why is self-control so difficult? And what causes us to fall in and out of love? We'll use selected lectures from the Great Courses series by Professor Mark Leary of Duke University to spark discussion. Expect thought-provoking insights and lively conversations as well as the opportunity to share personal reflections in a welcoming and supportive setting.
