Course Detail: UKHIKING - 636 Week-Long Hiking Trips In the UK: Hadrian's Wall and St. Oswald's Way/Holy Island
Join Rob and Beth Kelch for a photographic and historical journey along two national trails in Northern England. Explore Hadrian's Wall Path, an 84-mile UNESCO World Heritage trail built by the Roman Legion, and St. Oswald's Way, an ancient pilgrimage route through Northumberland's countryside, quaint villages and castles built in the 11th-14th centuries, ending at Holy Island (Lindisfarne). This presentation highlights two 7-8 day inn-to-inn hiking trips, with luggage transported by an outfitter, and offers tips for planning similar adventures.
