Course Detail: 368ELECTRIC - 368 "Tech Tuesday" - All About Electric Vehicles

Every month, we hear about new models of electric vehicles (EV) being rolled out in the next couple of years. By 2035, the largest automotive markets will be fully electric, providing both a glimpse of a green future and significant economic opportunity. Join OLLI member Carolyn Zelinski in a discussion about EVs - how they work, what is the cost versus savings, what type of vehicle support is available and much more! Before Carolyn purchased her Tesla in 2019, she did extensive research on EVs relating to the consumer. Carolyn will share her findings in this session, including some common misconceptions that "EV drivers may end up stranded in the middle of nowhere when they run out of battery due to the scarcity of public chargers." However, this rarely happens, as most EV owners charge at home. Don't get left at the gas pump - attend this session to learn more about EVs in our future!
