Course Detail: 09CAROL - 09 A Christmas Carol at Meadowbrook and Big, Bright Light Show

The original Christmas ghost story, A Christmas Carol, recounts Charles Dickens' Victorian-era tale of mean old Ebenezer Scrooge and his visit by the spirits of Christmas Past, Christmas Present and Not Yet to Come, who seek to show him the route to kindness and compassion. Join OLLI to celebrate this holiday classic with adaptation and staging by Charles Nolte, running at Meadowbrook for the 38th year in a row! We will also have time to enjoy the holiday spirit in downtown Rochester for their "Big, Bright Light Show." Our dinner will be at The Meeting House, a cozy and contemporary restaurant with a view of the downtown lights. This trip includes motor coach transportation from SVSU, dinner, tickets to the performance and some free time to stroll downtown. Dinner is the only meal included in trip price, so please plan accordingly.
