Course Detail: 07ZOO - 07 Penguins, Tigers and Bears at the Detroit Zoo
Established in 1928, the Detroit Zoo is situated on 125 acres with naturalistic habitats. It is one of the most favorite attractions in Michigan - home to more than 2,000 animals of more than 200 species. Our visit will include three habitat chats where we will learn more about the animals who call the zoo home. At these special segments, we'll hear directly from zoo staff and volunteers about these favorite animals and have the opportunity to ask your most curious questions. The habitat chats included in this visit will be the Polk Penguin Conservation Center, as well as the tiger and polar bear habitats. This trip includes motor coach transportation from SVSU, admission to the zoo, three Habitat Chats and a $20 lunch voucher at the zoo café.
