Around Town travels locally to learn about businesses, non-profit or government units, and nearby historical buildings or events. Participants arrange their own travel to meet at pre-arranged sites for tours, entertainment, and information from experts on the subject. Information

The Illinois State Military Museum houses artifacts from Illinois' citizen soldiers, including rare items such as a target board shot at by President Lincoln, as well as vehicles, weapons, uniforms, equipment and photographs. Also, we will be escorted to see a special collection of historic flags housed at Camp Lincoln.
