Information

Chautauqua will examine ethics in religion, business and medicine. Our first speakers will be Dr. Roxanne Kurtz Smith, UIS Associate Professor of Philosophy, and Dr. Paul Boatman, Professor Emeritus of Pastoral Care and Counseling at Lincoln Christian College. Smith received her doctorate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has won awards for her pioneering work in expanding on-line classes. Boatman, who received his doctorate of ministry from Eden Theological Seminary, has done mission work in 40 countries and has written extensively on topics related to religion.
