Information

Adventure awaits in Alton and Grafton when we explore the mighty Mississippi by air, land, and water! Tour the National Great Rivers Museum and the Melvin Price Lock and Dam. Learn the story of the legendary Piasa Bird as we stop to see the giant cliff painting. Lunch is served riverside at the Loading Dock restaurant.The afternoon features a scenic Mississippi River cruise. For an additional $10 add on, take the Sky Lift with open seating sky tram or cozy enclosed gondola to experience stunning panoramic views from Aerie's Winery. Prefer to stay grounded? The Grafton Winery offers a relaxing alternative. (Wine tasting is optional and not included in the tour price.)
