Information

"The Cat's Café" Catherine Stubin is looking for a way out of straitlaced Louisville, Ky., when a charismatic Irishman walks into her family's Thanksgiving dinner party. Patrick Callaway sweeps her off her feet and onto a night train with promises of adventure in the West. Enthralled by an impetuous elopement, she doesn't expect Patrick to disappear shortly after their arrival in the hardscrabble town of Eagle Rock. Catherine calls on all the strength, determination, and ingenuity she can muster to help shape the 19th-century American West. This is Book One of the Eagle Rock Trilogy. Chapter notes provide historical context for the characters, culture, and events.
