Dr. Brian Mitchell bring us an exciting program, "Immigration and Migration," which revolves around how Illinois transformed itself once it became part of the Northwest Territory and then a state. Who settled in Illinois and why? How did they establish "American" homes? How did those who already lived here reconcile or conflict with newcomers? This is part of the Illinois America 250 series, "History Belongs to All of Us," provided by the Illinois State Historical Society with funding from Illinois Humanities.
