This course is designed to help you develop the skills needed to become literate in the basics of functional sign language. You will acquire ways to solve communication breakdowns as you continue to learn sign language with your deaf/hard of hearing friends and family members. Basic vocabulary units come with opportunities to practice full sentences in review activities and games. This class is designed for people who want to review their signing knowledge as well as newcomers.
