Biography: Sarah Spoerl left her career as a certified teacher for the deaf and hearing impaired in 2021 to bravely follow God's calling for her. Sarah has been deaf since birth and has known sign language since she was 2 years old. She wears hearing aids in both ears and is a fantastic lipreader. She started a business as a sign language tutor/deaf mentor and designs custom curriculum materials to enrich the study of a beautiful and fun language to learn. Curriculum pacing and materials can be adjusted to the needs of the class. She loves sharing her passion for life as only Jesus can give to people! She was baptized as an adult in 2016 and has been growing spiritually ever since. Sarah loves being with her husband Rick of over 24 years, her 4 children, giant and a mini schnauzer! She feels happiest when outdoors near the water, reading, cooking wholesome food, playing games, listening to worship music and reading the Bible. She enjoys resting in the peace and promises of the Lord while in the midst of the chaos.
