Course Detail: MGT.3818 - Counseling Children and Adolescents

Counselors work in many different types of settings. A counselor who has earned both LCPC and NCSC credentials will share her real-world experiences of being a school, community and private practice counselor. Learn about the roles, as well as some of the tools used in various settings, including child and adolescent depression and anxiety screenings. Also, gain knowledge about hidden curriculum and social emotional skills for planning programs in a neurodiverse setting. Earns 3 PD credits.
