Biography: Denise Wirth is a counselor and educator. She earned a Master of Arts in Counseling from Governors State University. She received her Master of Arts in Education at Olivet Nazarene University. Over the last twenty-five years she has enjoyed teaching students to help cultivate a love of learning. She is interested in the motivation of learning from a student-led approach, with a focus on engagement and innovation. In 2016 she earned a clinical license and continued her career at an autism center. Last year she earned an Adolescent Mental Health certificate at UW Eau Claire. Her current focus is on developing professional workshops for teachers and counselors that incorporates current research and best practices. In her spare time she walks her dogs, enjoys traveling, time with family, and golf.
