Learn wheel throwing basics including centering, opening and pulling vessels. You'll also learn how to evaluate the form and how it serves the vessels function. 25 pounds of recycled clay will be provided, but students can purchase additional clay from JJC if they wish. Please bring a Basic Pottery Tool Kit (sponge, needle tool, wire clay cutter, wooden trimming tool and ribbon sculpting tool) to class. Previous experience in basic hand-building is helpful but not required. Ages 14+
