Rich Perna
Biography: I received my BA degree in art from Millikin University and an MA degree in Ceramics from Northern Illinois University. I taught high school art for 19 years and after receiving an administrative endorsement became a Dean of Students and an Assistant Principal. For the past several years I've taught Beginning and Advanced Wheel Throwing in the Continuing Education program at JJC.  During most of my career I've been a practicing studio potter creating wheel thrown functional stoneware pottery and hand built and wheel thrown Raku ware.

Designed to hone wheel throwing skills, students will also learn to throw lids, and make and attach handles and spouts.
