Course Detail: LLC.3763 - Crochet Pumpkins, Flowers and Leaves

crochet pumpkins Join us for a fun class to create crocheted mini pumpkins. This same pattern can be used to create pumpkin hats. You will also learn how to create flowers and leaves for fashion accessories. This is a Level 2 crochet class. Participants must know ch and sc. Skill learned: half double crochet back loop only, double crochet and triple crochet.

Biography:

I have been involved in the educational profession for over 20 years, retiring from JJC in 2017. I have developed a number of learning programs which include sewing, crochet and most recently miniature creations, such as a general store, Renaissance library and a miniature bookcase.

My pleasure time is filled with reading both fiction and non-fiction, general landscaping and riding my motor scooter.

I started my working career as a production welder for General Motors, Fisher body division in the second wave of women hired at this manufacturing plant. Since retiring, I have enjoyed watching my grandchildren grow and spending time with family, friends and my wonderful husband, Jim.
