Preparing for an AI-Infused Future is designed as a visionary roadmap for the long-term educational shift ahead. As AI evolves from a trend into a fundamental paradigm shift in instruction, the course empowers K-12 teachers to move beyond simple information retrieval toward high-level human-AI collaboration. Educators will define AI literacy and explore how to remain a vital, human-centric architect of learning in an automated world.
In this course, they will:
. Use Language Learning Models to work as teaching assistants for brainstorming, research, and drafting content.
. Develop an AI literacy personal action plan for short-term and long-term growth.
. Cultivate students' durable, future-ready skills that will help them in a changing workplace.
. Curate AI-generated materials to guide their students through the complex ethics of a digital society.
. Create a phased plan to evolve into an AI learning culture.
. Define the unique, enduring role that teachers provide their students that goes beyond AI capabilities.
. Create a visionary concept for AI's effect on education and personal use.
Teachers will come away with newfound confidence in using AI to save time and improve their students' learning experience. The course supports all K-12 educators, regardless of prior AI experience, with hands-on activities, extensive AI-generated and online resources, and YouTube tutorials. Activities and assignments are integrated with the course resources. This is a standalone course within the AI Flash Innovative Course Series. Access to students is not necessary for successful course completion or mastery of the course objectives.
