SOC-970: Baseball As American Culture

The game of baseball is an integral part of American culture from its origins to the present day. Participants develop an understanding of our national past-time and discover how the game is a reflection of America. The course evaluates culture and connects the game to the classroom curriculum units and Common Core Standards. Baseball as American Culture includes a travel option to visit the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY.
