Developed for students, ages 13-17, Flight Exploration is an introduction to flying and flight training. Students practice flight maneuvers and experience firsthand how the plane responds to flight controls. This hands-on practical experience will allow students to record flight time* while exploring their potential career paths. All Flight Exploration students must obtain an FAA Medical to attend. Any student in our Flight Exploration Camp is required to provide TSA-approved documentation. This means a valid passport or driver's license and original birth certificate.
Tuition for Flight Exploration includes supervised housing, on-campus meals, flight fees, flight instruction, ground lab instruction, flight materials, books, and a non-refundable $30 registration fee.
*Flight hours are not guaranteed due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather. In the event of a canceled flight, we will do our absolute best to modify the remaining flights and adjust the schedule to accommodate previously scheduled flight times.
