Flight Exploration - Daytona Beach

Who: Students ages 13-17 (Registrations submitted for campers who do not meet the specified age criteria will be cancelled. In such cases, the cancellation policy does apply).

When: 

  • Alpha:        June 7 - June 12, 2026
  • Bravo:        June 28 - July 3, 2026
  • Charlie:      July 26 - July 31, 2026

Where: Daytona Beach, FL

Tuition: $2,505.00 (Includes supervised housing, daily instruction, aircraft and simulator time, classroom materials, and on-campus meals.)

Flight Exploration provides students with an introduction to flying and flight training, perfect for those wanting to learn if flight is for them. Students can get hands on experience with ERAUs state-of-the-art simulators, Cessna 172s, and experience the thrill of flying. Participating students will be provided with FAA logbooks to record their flight hours obtained during the program. Students are required to obtain an up-to-date FAA Medical Certificate to attend. 

*Please note that flight hours are not guaranteed, as weather, maintenance, and backlogs may occur. K-12 and flight line will do our best to modify remaining flights to accommodate any previously scheduled flight block.*

Through hands-on activities, and expert-led sessions, students will explore essential fields such as:

  • Aviation Safety
  • Aircraft Maintenance 
  • Aerospace Science
  • Flight Operations

Registration will be open on January 12th, 2026.

Cancellation Policy

Each cancellation will incur a $50 processing fee deducted from the refund, and every camp includes a non-refundable $30 registration fee. If we receive your cancellation in writing by May 1st, you will receive a full refund minus these two fees. Cancellations received after May 1st will result in forfeiture of the tuition deposit. If the camp is already full, a refund can only be issued if your student's spot is filled by another participant. International Student Fees are non-refundable. 

International Students

If you are a non-US Citizen, you are required to have more than just a visitor visa to attend this program (required visa type such asF1).  Once your application has been processed, you will receive communication on your next steps for all additional required documents. Once your file is reviewed, you will receive your letter of acceptance and instructions on how to obtain your I-20, along with instructions on how to start your background check. You must also pass the background check, including fingerprinting as required by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
