Camp Detail: 3DP - 3D Creators
Who: Students Ages 14-18 (Registrations submitted for campers who do not meet the specified age criteria will be cancelled. In such cases, the cancellation policy does apply).

Tuition: TBD (Includes daily instruction, classroom materials, lunch on-campus, and a personal 3D printing pen).
Have you ever wanted to design something on a computer and turn it into a real object? Join us for a fun, hands-on summer camp where campers ages 14-18 will learn how to bring their ideas to life using 3Dmodeling, 3D printing, and other cool technologies!
Each day, campers will get to design, build, and create! In the first part of the day, they will learn how to use computer design software(CAD) to create their own 3D models. In the second part, they will explore 3D printing through fun activities, hands-on projects, and creative challenges.
Campers will:
- Design in 3D: Use On shape to create your own 3D models.
- Bring your designs to life: Learn how 3D printers work and print your own creations.
- Draw in 3D: Use 3D pens to create objects you can hold!
- Explore 3D scanning: Discover how scanners turn real objects into digital models.
- See your designs in 3D: Explore how to view and work with 3D objects on a screen.
- Take on fun challenges: Design, test, and improve your creations while solving real-world problems.
Best of all, each student will receive a 3D pen to take home and continue creating, long after camp ends!
Throughout the camp, campers will explore how 3D technologies are used in exciting fields such as:
- 3D Printing and Manufacturing
- 3D Design and Modeling
- Product Design and Prototyping
- Mechanical Engineering
- Product Testing
No previous experience is needed! Whether you love building things, drawing, solving puzzles, or simply trying something new, this camp is for you.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be received in writing to summer@erau.edu. Cancellation fees vary based on the cancellation dates listed below.

International Students
In addition to the required application process, non-U.S.citizens must obtain an appropriate visa to attend the program such as avisitor visa (B-1/B-2).
