In this guided camp, students explore the fundamentals of programming in a visual, beginner-friendly environment. Moving from basic shapes to moving sprites, you will learn how to draw with code, control characters with the keyboard and manage game physics. By the end of the week, you will design and develop a custom interactive game to share online, building a strong foundation for future computer science studies. Students with more coding experience who learn well in a text-only format can code in Python using the Carnegie Mellon CS Academy graphics package for animation and game design. Ages 10-15.
