Course Description: Delicious Delights: Colorful Creations in the Kitchen Youth Camp

Students will learn to make a scrumptious array of savory and sweet delights in this camp, and incorporate artistic skills by making them look almost too pretty to eat! Led by Chef instructor Kim, students will become more creative and confident in the kitchen by learning essential food prep skills and exploring challenging recipes. Students will also tap into their artistic selves as they make items like focaccia bread, mini parfaits, cake pops, and cookies look like works of art. The kitchen is not gluten or peanut-free. Please indicate known allergies in the checkout process when prompted. Ages 10-15.

Additional Course Information

Bring 1-2 leftover containers each day to share what you prepared with your family and friends! The purchase of a Chef coat is optional and can be selected at checkout. Students are required to wear closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back.

Cancellation Policy

Students must cancel by contacting our office via phone: (541) 383-7270 or email: ceinfo@cocc.edu. Cancellations received 5 days prior to the start of the class will receive a full refund. Full refunds are also issued for classes cancelled by COCC. Refunds will be issued back to your card or in the form of a check and mailed within two weeks of the cancellation date if paid by check or cash. Failure to participate in a course or program does not result in a refund. Exceptions to the general refund policy are noted in the course descriptions on our website and in the printed schedule.
