Course Detail: Peach 'O Rama
Learn how to create the perfect peach pie, one that is juicy but not soggy, with a flaky crust. Choose whether to complete your pie with a lattice top or crumble top, both are beautiful and delicious! Students will also make a honey custard tart with an almond crust, topped with caramelized peaches. Bring an apron, a knife, a lunch and take-home containers.

Biography: Katie is a graduate of the Baking and Pastry Program at the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. Prior to moving to Bend, she served as the head pastry chef at Macrina Bakery in Seattle where she published recipes in their cookbook and was invited along with the owner of Macrina to cook at the James Beard House. Katie has been a Baking and Pastry instructor with COCC Continuing Education since January 2015. Katie Fuller

Full refunds are also issued for classes cancelled by COCC. Refunds will be issued back to your card or in the form of a check and mailed within two weeks of the cancellation date if paid by check or cash. Failure to participate in a course or program does not result in a refund. Exceptions to the general refund policy are noted in the course descriptions on our website and in the printed schedule.
