Course Detail: Hiking Central Oregon Rivers
Begin your summer hiking season with some easy hikes along three Central Oregon Rivers. Enjoy the natural sights and sounds of the Metolius, Fall and Deschutes Rivers on loop hikes that range from 5.6 to 7.6 miles long, with relatively minimal elevation gain. Visit the headwaters of the Metolius and Fall Rivers to see these rivers literally spring out of the ground. Experienced outdoor guide, Damian Fagan, will highlight the beautiful flora and fauna of the area. This is a great opportunity for individuals who may be new to the area as well as those who have lived in Central Oregon for years and would like to experience it's beauty. Pace is semi-leisurely with opportunities to stop and enjoy the views. Bring a lunch and a day pack. Each hike will depart from Chandler Lab, unless otherwise noted.
