Course Description: Golf Short Game

If you are a golfer looking to lower your score by improving your short game, this class is for you. Develop your putting, chipping, and pitching techniques. Gain an understanding about which shot to use in various situations during a round. Learn how to properly execute the shot you need to greatly reduce your score and increase your enjoyment of the game. These courses are designed to be repeated, so students can continue to improve their technique through practice and experience.

Stuart Allison

Biography: Stuart Allison began his golf teaching career in 1991 in Scottsdale, Arizona. He called Arizona his winter home for 25 years while working in golf instruction, founding Lands End Golf School in 1997. His career allowed him to travel in the summer months to locations from Anchorage, Alaska to Long Island, New York. Stuart made his way to Central Oregon where from 2009 to 2016, he instructed at Juniper Golf Course in Redmond, Oregon. In 2016 he became the Director of Instruction at River's Edge Golf Course in Bend, Oregon, where he has been ever since. His passion for teaching is reflected in the enjoyment of his students' experience in learning about the game of golf. Stuart grew up in Eugene, Oregon, and is a graduate of the University of Oregon.

Cancellation Policy

Students must cancel by contacting our office via phone: (541) 383-7270 or email: ceinfo@cocc.edu. Cancellations received 5 days prior to the start of the class will receive a full refund. Full refunds are also issued for classes cancelled by COCC. Refunds will be issued back to your card or in the form of a check and mailed within two weeks of the cancellation date if paid by check or cash. Failure to participate in a course or program does not result in a refund. Exceptions to the general refund policy are noted in the course descriptions on our website and in the printed schedule.
