Course Description: Personal Retirement Analysis Workshop

Create a personal retirement analysis through rare access to one of the best financial planning programs in the industry, guided by a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER?. Clarify your current path and learn critical concepts to maximize your retirement dollars and align your financial goals with your values. Walk away with clarity and understanding of your unique situation, and personal retirement plan. This course is best suited for those considering retirement, or already retired. Students must attend the first two sessions. The third session will be scheduled as a one-on-one consultation with a financial planner. Couples are encouraged to attend together. Register your partner/spouse at the time of registration for an additional $25.

Schedule:

Class meets Tuesday, 4/25 and Thursday, 4/27 from 6-8 pm at COCC's Health Career Center, room 260. Students will schedule a third online session via Zoom by 5/5 (between 8 am-4 pm) for a one-on-one meeting with a financial planner.

- Course fee covers registration for one person unless otherwise noted.
- Must have access to a computer or laptop with current updated operating system. Mobile devices can be used to access some parts of classes but you may not be able to fully participate or complete your course on a phone or tablet.
- A high-speed internet connection.

He really gets to know his clients, truly cares about their goals and their future, and often works with multiple generations of the same family.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Chartered Financial Consultant, and Chartered Life Underwriter, Chad believes in the value of education and is always looking for opportunities to keep learning. He's sought out for his experience and his ability to explain complex financial concepts in easy to understand ways. From appearing on the news to teaching his courses at Central Oregon Community College, Chad loves to help others understand the complexities of the financial world.

Born and raised in the Midwest, Chad is a graduate of Luther College, located in Decorah, IA. He and his wife Cami moved to Bend in 2005 to be closer to family and to take advantage of the many outdoor activities Central Oregon has to offer. He enjoys playing soccer, white water rafting, camping and spending time teaching life lessons to his three girls.

Students must cancel by contacting our office via phone: (541) 383-7270 or email: ceinfo@cocc.edu. Cancellations received 5 days prior to the start of the class will receive a full refund. Full refunds are also issued for classes cancelled by COCC. Refunds will be issued back to your card or in the form of a check and mailed within two weeks of the cancellation date if paid by check or cash. Failure to participate in a course or program does not result in a refund. Exceptions to the general refund policy are noted in the course descriptions on our website and in the printed schedule.
