Course Description: Intro to Theatre Dance

Let's dance! Whether you are new to dance or have years of experience, all will enjoy learning easy to follow choreography using Broadway musical numbers from shows like: A Chorus Line, Chicago, and Singin' in the Rain. Experienced dance instructor Hilary Crockett will provide an encouraging environment to help you learn the basics of musical theatre dance and build your confidence. Students are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and shoes. All skill levels are invited to participate.

Hilary Crockett

Biography: Hilary Crockett is a dance teacher with years of experience teaching dance to all ages and levels. She has taught in schools and has choreographed for community theatre as well. She has worked for several studios including Boston Ballet, Connecticut Ballet, and the Kirov Academy in D.C. She was the school manager for The Washington Ballet. Hilary has a B.A. in Dance from UNC- Greensboro. She loves getting to know her students and sharing her love for dance with them.

Cancellation Policy

Students must cancel by contacting our office via phone: (541) 383-7270 or email: ceinfo@cocc.edu. Cancellations received 5 days prior to the start of the class will receive a full refund. Full refunds are also issued for classes cancelled by COCC. Refunds will be issued back to your card or in the form of a check and mailed within two weeks of the cancellation date if paid by check or cash. Failure to participate in a course or program does not result in a refund. Exceptions to the general refund policy are noted in the course descriptions on our website and in the printed schedule.
