Course Description: Golden Yoga
Golden Yoga is a gentle and therapeutic yoga course designed for older adults, but all are welcome! This course combines guided breathwork with gentle movements to help improve flexibility and range of motion while building strength of both mind and body. Yoga can be effective in helping to reduce stiffness and joint tenderness. Guided meditation will be incorporated to help reduce anxiety, improve mood and sleep patterns, and create an overall sense of well-being. Students are encouraged to have a yoga mat, pillow(s), blanket(s), strap (or belt or scarf) and a chair.
