Course Description: Language Educator's Conference: 3-Day Intensive Intermediate Spanish Course

Unlock the door to language proficiency and cultural understanding with our three-day, 18-hour Spanish Intermediate Immersion course. Designed for learners who have a foundational understanding of Spanish, this interactive and engaging course leverages the power of Comprehensible Input (CI) to enhance language acquisition. The course will focus on the following topics: Egan Bernal and his hometown of Zipaquira Colombia; Pescaito, the song by Carlos Vives and the Barrio in Santa Marta Colombia; and La Tomatina festival in Buñol Spain. Students will read and listen to language about these topics that is 100% comprehensible during 90% of all instruction time. Time will also be spent on interesting activities that are personalized to the individuals in the class. NOTE: This course is part of the TCI Oregon (Teaching with Comprehensible Input) educators' conference. Conference attendees will be observing and/or participating throughout the three days. Lunch break from noon-1 pm each day.

Cancellation Policy

Students must cancel by contacting our office via phone: (541) 383-7270 or email: ceinfo@cocc.edu. Cancellations received 5 days prior to the start of the class will receive a full refund. Full refunds are also issued for classes cancelled by COCC. Refunds will be issued back to your card or in the form of a check and mailed within two weeks of the cancellation date if paid by check or cash. Failure to participate in a course or program does not result in a refund. Exceptions to the general refund policy are noted in the course descriptions on our website and in the printed schedule.
