Course Description: Gelli Art Printmaking Youth Camp
Gelli plate printing is a non-mechanical printmaking technique that allow students to work with a variety of art materials and be creative in the classroom. In this camp students will apply acrylic paints onto a gel plate with a roller, and use stencils and textured materials like leaves, feathers, netting and bubble wrap to craft individual print pieces. On the final day, students will select their favorite prints for a gallery show for parents. Taught by professional photographer, Steve Giardini. Ages 10-15.
