Course Description: Finance and Accounting for Decision Making

If you are a business owner or manager, understanding your company finances is the foundation of success. Vaughan Briggs

Biography: Vaughan is a faculty member of the Business Administration department at COCC, who has done it all in the business world, from Microsoft to First Interstate Bank to Gary Fisher Bicycle Company. Vaughan has served in positions such as chief financial officer, executive manager, general manager, divisional controller, and SBA loan regional director. He is an experienced entrepreneur, founding and operating his own companies. With an MBA in finance and marketing from the University of California at Los Angeles and a master's degree in teaching from Eastern Oregon University, Vaughan's heart is with helping students and business owners.

Students must cancel by contacting our office via phone: (541) 383-7270 or email: ceinfo@cocc.edu. Cancellations received 5 days prior to the start of the class will receive a full refund. Full refunds are also issued for classes cancelled by COCC. Refunds will be issued back to your card or in the form of a check and mailed within two weeks of the cancellation date if paid by check or cash. Failure to participate in a course or program does not result in a refund. Exceptions to the general refund policy are noted in the course descriptions on our website and in the printed schedule.
