Emily Walbridge
Biography: Emily Walbridge has been a member of the Mazamas since 2016 and a hike leader since 2019. She is also a member and Scrambling Instructor for The Mountaineers and has completed wilderness first aid, avalanche safety, navigation, and outdoor leadership certification with The Mountaineers. In addition to volunteering with the Mazamas and The Mountaineers, she is also a board member of the American Hiking Society and a mentor for the NextGen Trail Leaders program. She has summited Mt Hood, Mt Adams, Mt Baker, and Mt. St. Helens in her spare time, and her favorite hikes are Mt. Ellinor in the Olympids, Foss Peake in the Tatoosh Range in Washington State, and Devil's Peak on Mt. Hood in Oregon. When hiking, Emily always remembers her hiking poles and camera and never finishes a hike without saying, "I can't believe I live here." Emily has recently moved to Central Oregon with her two rescue labs, Honey & Sugar.
